So ten years after the most beautiful city in the world fell, the corpse of the city, and the not quite dead people inside of it, are all that remains. Outside the city though the world continued to turn, and another city took place in the shadow of the once great city.
This book was interesting in that it followed three different main characters, as opposed to one, telling the same story from three different points, but never repeating anything.
With this system the book can tell a powerful political story, how different people can try to achieve the same goals while stopping each others.
By the end of the book I was definitely craving more.
The overall book was amazing, the plot moved at a steady pace, and always kept my attention, the characters were emotionally written as if they were almost real, the setting could possibly use some more description, but honestly this book will keep you guessing until the end.
